Kim Mendoza: Pinays Coordinator
Hi! I’m Kim and I’m a 4th year transfer student originally from Historic Pilipinotown in Los Angeles. My transition into Samahang happened really fast, when a mentor invited me to the general meetings. Less than a year later, I am now serving as Pinays Coordinator! My role is to create community among Pinays at UCLA through the Pinays Committee and work with Georgina on gender and sexuality-related topics. On campus, I am also involved with the Asian Pacific Coalition.
